Turing

Turing is our flagship product, aimed at High level KS4, A level and entry University students who want (or need) to understand the way a CPU inside a computer works.

Today's education system has been hijacked by the view that high level programming languages are all that is necessary, with a concentration on Python and Java because they are convenient, not because they are important. It is as if Science teaching avoided teaching about the internal combustion engine and oil and replaced it with a study of gear changing.

Turing creates a working model CPU that demonstrates visually how a real CPU works. The key components and actions are all shown and animated, with annotated descriptions if required.
